Lectors
Members of the congregation who read aloud the Old and New Testament Lessons, the Psalm are Lectors. During special times of the church year, the lectors are asked to read portions of scripture applicable to the season. For example, lectors may be asked to participate in the dramatic reading of the Passion during Holy Week.

Eucharistic Ministers
The Eucharistic Ministers serve specific and important roles in the church according to the Canons of the Episcopal Church. They administer the elements (bread and wine) at any Celebration of the Holy Eucharist when there are not enough Priests or Deacons to serve the members of the congregation. The Eucharistic Ministers or EMs train for this job in their home parish. The Bishop grants each EM a license at the request of the parish Rector.

Volunteers are always needed! This is a great way to get involved in worship. Please be aware, you must be a member of the church for a year and have completed the Safeguarding courses and background check to participate. See the Volunteer tab.
